India has joined the countries who make indigenous semiconductor chip by manufacturing indigenous Semiconductor VIKRAM-32.
India first indigenous semiconductor chip VIKRAM-32 Bit processor made in ISRO semiconductor lab.
It is fully indigenously design, manufactured and packing. This chip will be used in Defense, space, automobiles, telicom ,IT and Industrial etc segment.
Now India will be no more importer of semiconductor, whereas India will be manufacturer and exporter of semiconductor very soon due to its best quality. It will also create employment and provide facilities for start up as government is going to invest ₹76000cr .
