India takes charge as BRICS chair for the 4th time at NEW DELHI in BHARAT MANDAPAM between 12-13 sep 26.
As of now BRICS has 11 countries in its group including:- BRAZIL, RUSSIA, INDIA, CHINA, SOUTH AFRICA, along with IRAN, UAE, SAUDI ARABIA, EGYPT, INDONESIA and ETHOPIA. BRICS comprises nearly half of the world population and approx 40 percent of the world economy.
In this volatile world scenario, where countries are directly/indirectly involved into the war, BHARAT becomes successful to make consensus of NEW DELHI DECLARATION .And All the countries come into the agreement with the following key points:-
- Increase movement of local currency for trade between BRICS countries, did not use de-dollarisation word even for a single time in declaration.
- Reform in the United Nation and its organisation SECURITY COUNCIL (UNSC).CHINA and Russia both agreed on INDIA and BRAZIL should have greater role in UN including UN SECURITY COUNCIL.
- Strengthening the voice of Global south countries.
- Representation of developing countries in WTO, World Bank and IMF.
- Zero tolerance towards terrorism , even china criticised the Pahalgam attack by Pakistan .
- Cooperation in cybersecurity, AI and technologies.
- Working together on energy security and sustainable development.
- Collaboration on health, agriculture and food security.
- Concern over situation of GAZA and WEST BANK and call for immediate ceasefire.
- Emphasis on rule based Trade and transportation.
