
India’s 1st privately ( SKYROOT AEROSPACE) developed orbital class rocket VIKRAM-1 launched today from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Shri Harikota.

Vikram-1 is carrying 6 payloads :- SOLARS s3, SCOPE, EMBRACE, DCUBEDtech demos, COSMIC BLOOM and a tribute capsule to Sarabhai , Kalaam and Raman.
India became 3rd country after USA and China, which have private orbital launch capability.
KALAAM 2000 -, is Vikram -1’ s stage named for Dr A P J Abdul Kalaam – roaring to life and lifting Vikram-1 off the pad , on a flight that reached orbit.

VIKRAM-1 is a four stage rocket designed to provide rapid and on demand services.
This mission show the talent, determination and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s young mind. It also show space sector reform a new opportunity for innovation and enterprises.
